Jack Madej

Private Instructor

Jack Madej, a Scotia native, first started golfing with his father at Schenectady Municipal Golf Course when he was just two years old. One of five children, he went on to play for Scotia Glenville High School before turning Pro at nineteen. He is beginning his 25th year as a Golf Professional.

Madej worked at the Stadium Golf Club for ten years before the Mohawk Golf Club. He was with the Glens Falls Country Club for fifteen years before joining Kingsbury National.

Jack’s passion is teaching, and his aim is to help everyone enjoy the game of golf. He credits his mentor Tom Haggerty, as well as his brother, Bob Haggerty Jr., of Schenectady Municipal, for his success as a player, teacher, and professional.
